Eastern Oregon Geothermal Power Plant

“CENTRA assisted USG Oregon, LLC  in securing a 98.6 million loan guarantee from the US Department of Energy (DOE) for construction of a 23-megawatt power plant at Neal Hot Springs in eastern Oregon.  The Neal Hot Springs project is a renewable energy project focused on development, production, and sale of electricity from geothermal energy.  In early 2010, CENTRA prepared a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment for the project site, which is a due diligence requirement necessary for securing the DOE loan.  A recent article on the Neal Hot Springs project and the loan guarantee from DOE can be found here:

CAR WASH UTILIZING RECLAIMED WATER

“CENTRA recently provided assistance to the City of Meridian by preparing a permit application to allow the City to provide reclaimed water for use in commercial car washing facilities.  This is the first project in Idaho to establish the viability of Reuse Water for Car Wash Facilities. A public comment period was just announced for a pending modification to the City’s reclaimed water permit from the Idaho DEQ.  A link to the public comment announcement and supporting materials is available here:
